Seperation Anxiety
Help for Dogs Who Struggle to Be Left Alone
Seperation anxiety is where a dog struggles to be left on their own or to be seperated from a person or people. It can be very distressing to both dogs and humans.
Seperation Anxiety often means that your life becomes very limited. You miss out on important events. You cannot socialise with your friends and family. You feel trapped and cannot leave the house. It can be a very stressful and isolating behaviour issue to live with.
Seperation Anxiety is a phobia and it will not get better on its own. In fact, it may get worse as time goes on. It is important to get started on seperation anxiety training as soon as possible.
Seperation Anxiety can be distressing and limiting for both dogs and humans. The emotional distress and limitations separation anxiety can cause can ruin your relationship with your dog, strain relationships with family members and neighbours and impact your ability to even leave your home.

How Can You Help?
Our Seperation Anxiety Programme is designed to help your dog confront their fears about being home alone by focusing on three main areas.
Using management strategies, we aim to increase your ability to leave the home in the short term, removing the pressure from both you and your dog.
This will also stop the vicious circle of your dog associating you leaving with being anxious
Using training we get your dog used to being left on their own in their home.
Using desensitisation and successive approximations, we reduce your dog’s stress at your absense while reducing the stress they feel while training.
Whatsapp or Email Support and Weekly Check-in’s help you feel supported during your dogs behavioural treatment, reducing the emotional impact of behaviour problem on you.
We rescued our Romania rescue Nora about 3 months ago. We started having issues about 2 weeks in and it’s only with Aimee’s help that we have made as much progress as we have! Highly recommend, without her we wouldnt have the wonderful dog we have today! Amazing service, she really makes you feel at ease and guides you through everything you need to do. Worth every penny!
